SpenVest supports two POS integration modes: API-connected POS and Manual POS. Your choice depends on whether your POS provider has a supported integration, your operational maturity, and your rollout timeline.
POS integration modes
API POS — Direct connection to a supported POS provider (Square, Lightspeed, Shopify, or other). Transactions sync automatically and reward points are released immediately.
Manual POS — CSV-based transaction upload for merchants without a live API integration. Points enter a pending state and are released after weekly reconciliation.
Browser-first operations
Many merchants start with browser operations and manual uploads, then add deeper POS API integration or device rollout later. You can switch modes from the Settings page.
