What to do at checkout
Open the SpenVest app or portal
Have your SpenVest app ready before you reach the register.
Go to your checkout ID or QR screen
Navigate to the section that displays your SpenVest QR code and member code.
Show your QR code to the merchant
Present your screen so the staff member can scan your QR code. If scanning is not available, show the member code displayed below the QR.
Merchant scans or enters your code
The staff member scans the QR code or manually enters your member code into their POS system.
Pay normally
Complete payment using the merchant's standard payment method — card, cash, or other accepted options. Your SpenVest code does not process payment.
Your purchase is linked to your account
Once payment is complete, the transaction can be linked to your SpenVest account for eligible attribution.
SVC is calculated automatically
If the purchase meets the merchant's eligibility rules, SVC is calculated after the transaction is processed. This may be immediate or may take some time depending on the store's system.
The most important step is to show your code before the merchant finalises payment. If you show it after, the transaction may not be attributable depending on the merchant's POS configuration.
