In some situations, the merchant may not be able to scan your QR code — for example, if the scanner is not working, lighting conditions are poor, or the store does not have a compatible scanner. In these cases, use the member code instead.

The merchant can enter it manually into their POS
Make sure the merchant confirms your code is attached before they complete payment
If neither scanning nor manual entry works, ask the merchant to follow their store's SpenVest fallback procedure
No code, no link
If the merchant does not capture your SpenVest code before payment, the transaction cannot be linked to your account. Make sure identification happens before payment is finalised.
